Private Car Dashboard: Terms and Privacy

1. What this is
Private Car Dashboard is a private application for one person, the owner of the vehicle, to view data about their own vehicle and send basic remote commands. It is not offered to anyone else, has no registration and is not available to the public.
2. Data accessed
Only after consent through Volvo ID: vehicle status, battery and charging state, fuel level, odometer, door and lock status, service and diagnostic information, and last known position. Consent can be withdrawn at any time in the Volvo ID account.
3. How data is used
Solely to display the status of the owner's vehicle and to keep a personal history of readings. There is no advertising, profiling, analytics or resale of data.
4. Storage and security
Data and access tokens are stored on a device controlled by the owner, in files readable only by the owner's account. The application is not reachable from the public internet.
5. Sharing
No data is shared with third parties.
6. Retention and deletion
Data is kept only while the application is in use and is deleted when the owner stops using it or withdraws consent.
7. Remote commands
Commands are sent only by the owner, at the owner's own responsibility, after a confirmation step.
8. No warranty
The application is a personal project provided as is.
